 Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join the dynamic Developmental Psychology Assessment Services team on our campus in Bangor, Maine. This psychologist will be responsible for seeing patients ages 7-13.

Opportunity:

 Serve as the psychology consultant to our pediatric inpatient interdisciplinary care teams, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, nursing staff, and occupational therapists

  • Provide exceptional group therapy for children and adolescents on our inpatient psychiatric units
  • Perform psychological testing when indicated for diagnostic clarification
  • Opportunities available for outpatient therapy and evaluation

Requirements:

 Board-certified or eligible to obtain board certification

  • Clinical skills should be relevant to the client population served
  • Desire to build relationships and facilitate communication among interdisciplinary team members is critical
  • Qualified candidates must have a D. or Psy.D. in psychology
